If you have private medical insurance, we recommend contacting your insurer before booking to confirm:

Important Billing Information
– We do not bill AXA PPP or Vitality directly
– All appointments are self-funded at the time of booking

AXA PPP and Vitality
If you are insured with AXA PPP or Vitality:
– We do not bill these insurers directly
– Full payment is required at the time of booking

Private Medical Insurance & Self-Pay
The London Allergy and Immunology Centre offers specialist consultations in Allergy, Immunology and Dermatology. Patients can book appointments using private medical insurance or choose to self-pay.
If you plan to use private medical insurance, we recommend checking your cover before booking. Policies vary, and some insurers require prior approval or a GP referral. As a result, confirming this in advance can help avoid delays.
Importantly, we do not bill AXA PPP or Vitality directly. Instead, all appointments are paid for at the time of booking. However, we provide full invoices and medical documentation so you can submit a claim to your insurer if your policy allows.
Patients insured with BUPA or Benenden must have a valid GP referral. This referral must be issued before the appointment. Without it, your insurer may decline reimbursement.
In addition, many patients choose our clinic on a self-pay basis. They value clear pricing, short waiting times and access to experienced consultants. No referral is required for self-pay appointments, although previous medical letters are welcome.
After your consultation, we can provide a detailed invoice and supporting documents. These are suitable for insurance claims where applicable.
