Allergy consultant, Specialist in Allergy and Immunology, Medical director

Prof Rudenko founded London Allergy and Immunology Centre in 2011 as a single practice. It is grown into multidisciplinary friendly team of Allergy,ImmunologyDermatologyENT and Paediatric consultants
(Prof RudenkoDr BoyleDr ClarkProf BurovaProf Dhillon), covering large area in the UK around London, Oxford and Cambridge.

Our consultants provide highest standards of Allergy care including allergy tests and treatment to patients of all backgrounds and ages.

As a part of Global Allergy Network our centre can help patients with allergy and asthma, who travel often around the Globe and provide treatment in London clinics and with our partners – clinics of Global Excellence Network.

We use only scientifically proven methods and tests and are proud to bring the best possible allergy service to the UK.

We can bring allergy care even closer to business people.

Professor Michael Rudenko  has significant research background in allergy and asthma. His MD and PhD projects were on sub-lingual specific immunotherapy in children, adolescents and adults; he did many studies in medical mycology and immunology of herpes viruses and large number of Phase 2-3 Asthma and Allergy trials as sub/co-investigator, principal investigator. For his work in developing new schemes of treatment of recurrent herpes virus infection and prevention of CMV and EBV infection he obtained 2 patents.

Professor Rudenko is a member of European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology EAACI since 2004 and currently is representative of British Society for Allergy and Clincal immunology in EAACI. Prof Rudenko is a Member of American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology AAAAI where he served as a board member on Allergen Standardization and Allergy Diagnostics Committee as well as Practice Management Committee and an individual member of FOCIS Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies.

Prof Rudenko participates in EAACI-Task Force for EAACI-UEMS Knowledge Examination in Allergy and Immunology and provided many questions that are currently used in European Exam in Allergy and Immunology.

Professor Rudenko published over 15 original articles, 2 editorials in peer-reviewed journals, over 50 scientific abstracts. In addition he participated in 5 position papers, as well as publishing over 15 review articles, 5 book chapters, 1 monograph, some publications are in press and did many invited presentations at international meetings during the last five years.

Allergy treatment in our Centre:

We welcome new private patients and accept patients for continuation of their treatment who have started immunotherapy (allergy shots) in other counties the US, Europe mainland, Australia, New Zealand and are moving to the UK – London or nearby areas. (We will need to contact your doctor who has started the treatment, subject to vaccine availability).

Specific immunotherapy is a method of treatment (desensitisation) that influences the cause of allergic condition. It us used to treat allergy to to bee and wasp venom, allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and allergic asthma, caused by sensitisation to:

  • grasses,
  • trees,
  • house dust mite,
  • cats,
  • dogs
