ALEX Allergy Test – Up to 300 Allergies from One Tiny Blood Sample
The ALEX Allergy Test is one of the most advanced blood tests available for allergy diagnosis.
With one small blood sample, it can analyse up to 3oo food and airborne allergens at the same time.
This makes allergy testing faster, more detailed, and far more convenient than traditional testing methods.

What Is the ALEX Allergy Test?
ALEX (Allergy Explorer) is a laboratory blood test that measures specific IgE antibodies to both whole allergens and individual allergen components.
It uses microchip-based ELISA technology, which has replaced older methods such as RAST.
Because of this technology, only a few microlitres of blood are needed to deliver a complete allergy profile.

What makes ALEX different?
– Tests nearly 300 allergen components in one step
– Identifies true allergy vs cross-reactivity
– Covers food, pollen, animals, mites, moulds, venoms, and latex
– Helps guide accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions
Molecular Allergy Testing – The Big Picture
Traditional allergy tests often look at one allergen at a time.
In contrast, the ALEX test provides a molecular-level overview of your allergy sensitisation.
This means it can:
– Distinguish primary allergy from pollen-related cross-reactions
– Identify high-risk proteins linked to severe reactions
– Explain why some foods cause symptoms when raw but not cooked
– Support earlier and more targeted management
As a result, fewer tests are needed, saving time, cost, and clinic visits.
